Verklin out, fay in as head of aegis americas
Sarah Fay has scaled yet another rung at federal agency network Aegis Group, becoming CEO of Aegis Media North United States. Departing Aegis Americas CEO David Verklin has been one of the ad industry's more prominent pundits in recent years. No ground was given for his going, announced late today. The publicity continues Fay's rapid rise at the web, where she was antecedently CEO of Carat and Isobar USA. She only ascended to that post last July, when Carat USA and Carat merger officially combined to form one of the first wholly integrated agencies. Prior to that she was head of Carat Digital. She's one of the few interactive agency innovator to reach the upper echelon of traditional agency networks. Scott Sorokin, Carat president, will "remain responsible" for the federal agency as Fay moves up to more senior management of Aegis' North American business. Aegis, in a statement, said Verklin would "remain available" to the company in the approach months. individually, Aegis created created a new concern unit, Aegis Media Latin United States.
